Holy crap, Chevalier is already at $601.

Looks like a typo, as MyID has to enter $61 into the first bid, and it seems that someone typed $601 instead.

Okay, I'm trying to pay a bill at MyID using my VISA, but even though there are quotes like this:

"While MyID.ca offers secure payment via VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express..."

And even a "Billing -> Add Funds by Credit Card" (that doesn't work and sends you to the Paypal page) but I seriously cannot understand how CC payments work. It's like I'm on an early-90's website that you need to spend hours figuring out how to do anything.

Hopefully someone can help with Credit Card Payments on MyID.

I just looked a little deeper and it doesn't seem that MyID even has a payment processing system, and it looks to be all manual.

I just made payments yesterday and today and they were done using Paypal. I remember them having credit card before and now I only see interac and paypal options.

Yeah, MyID no longer seems to have a payment processing system, and it's all manually done, with "adding funds" then opening a ticket to apply said funds. Holy crap, what did I get myself into here?

A big problem with this is, MyID may have retired their payment processing system, but their website still includes multiple references to paying via credit card, as well as a highly amusing "No Credit Card? No Problem" section. LOL

One other thing, does MyID create a registrant from your profile for TBR domains, or do you need to manually create one? I would assume it's automatically created, but from what I've seen so far, I think I might have to wake up and feed their hamster on the wheel just to keep this site online.

It looks like MyID generated the Registrant automatically.

Last question: How do you add DNS TXT Codes to a domain at MyID?

HeHe.... nothing is done automatically at MyID, unless by automatically generated you mean they entered it by hand for you.

I know, but at least I didn't have to do it myself.

MyID is like the MySpace of domain registrars ... still around after all these years, but it's kind of hard to understand how and why that is the case, LOL.
