Good deal, just know they will automatically charge your credit card on file for renewals like 3 months in advance of the expiry date, and there's no way to turn off auto-renew. You actually need to call in and let them know which domains you want to renew, and which you want to let expire (months in advance of the expiry date).

I see the "autorenew on/off" option in my control panel at Rebel, and it does work for me too. But I only see it in the summary page listing all your domains, not in the individual domain control panel (which you'd think it would be there too).

I also note that is says "next billing date" is 48 days before the expiry date on my domains. An odd number for sure. You'd think 30 days would be plenty.

Interesting, I guess I may have exaggerated on how early they will renew but I still can't find the option to turn off auto-renew when I check, and I definitely got slapped with renewals I never seen coming just this year.

Maybe things have since changed again, but it's definitely a thing that's been discussed on these forums before. Rebel had even published a little something about it before (and then took it down): https://web.archive.org/web/2016042...-happened-to-the-auto-renewal-manager-and-can

It's probably done on purpose, nobody looks that close at their domains 48 days ahead. It is usually at the 30 day mark that most domainers give it a good amount of attention because we are used to that being the standard most everywhere.

That said it should not matter because the emails should alert us to the renewal state but I like the toggle switch on GoDaddy, it is easy to toggle them on and off even in bulk. There is a verification so you don't do it accidentally though.

It will be interesting to see how dan does it moving forward, they seem to be the innovators.

Canspace, WHC, and all.ca should pretty much have similar systems because they use the same software underpinnings.
