The DN.ca app can now be installed on your mobile device.

Follow these instructions...

1. Open the chrome browser on your mobile device.
2. Navigate to dn.ca
3. Click the 3 line hamburger menu top left beside the logo.
4. Scroll down to where it says install the app.
5. Install and you are done.

Here are some screen shots...

Only Chrome?

You should be able to install it from any browser, it is a full app once installed.

I have tested it on android but not yet on an apple device.

If someone with an iPhone could tell me if it works to install from Safari please let me know.

PS. You can install it on a chromebook or android tablet as well.

Anyone with an apple device please chime in

I don’t see the 3 line hamburger menu top left beside the logo on iPad

Your iPad is in desktop view, you have to use a mobile browser.

Can you shrink your screen?

Once it hits phone size it converts to mobile view.

So anyone on an ipad has to use a mobile browser to install.

It's all pretty automatic on a phone but on an ipad you are probably better off using the desktop version.

@MapleDots …..App doesn’t show up in my iPhone (13 promax)

No I don’t…but I’m ok with the site version…it works great for me on iPhone and iPad

I use iPhone as well and I second what Jaysub is saying. The mobile version does work very well anyway but I guess the app would be a very nice addition. :)

One think that I did notice on the mobile version is that I have to turn my phone sideways to view one’s signature.

Yes the signature and all the information under the avatar requires a bit wider screen.

I managed to squeeze those in on my last forum so I might do that again, however it is a compromise, there is only so much real estate on mobile.
