The past 4 weeks have been the slowest in Domains I've ever seen (1.Viewing)

Yes the market slowdown can be seen everywhere including domains.

Even the activity on the board here has slowed considerably, I think we will even start seeing some relative bargains on TBR as people stop participating.

I love buying on the downswing knowing the profits come on the upswing, it is a cycle I have seen many times before.

I only had one sale in the last couple of months but it brought in close to 20k, was going to hold out for the whole 20k but things have been a little slow lately so I let it go a bit below that mark.

My inquiries have definitely picked up in the last month and a half. Looking over the last couple years it has surpassed prior years during this time also. My stats show an increase of over 100% from prior years.

I try to look at inquiries more than sales because that’s typically hit and miss. I’ve always done well with domains during years the economy and outlook wasn’t doing well. But, my portfolio isn’t as large as some others in the industry so it could be just luck.

It has been slow for new inquiries this past couple weeks...

My inquiries have definitely been much lower over the last couple of months.

The wonderful thing about domains is that we can have bad months or even a bad year. Our only expense is renewals. A store can only have a few bad months for so long before they have to close shop because of their very high rent. Especially in a shopping mall. If you have only a couple hundred domains, you can have a bad year or 2 and still have no worries with renewals.

Some domains that we hold could definitely be a long haul but when you’re only paying $10 -$12 yearly renewals on possibly a 6 figure name, I think it’s worth it. :)

It certainly seems quiet. Had no takers after discounting my entire portfolio over the Thanksgiving weekend. I'm not even receiving low-ball offers on any of the domains. Not sure if that's reflective of a down-turn in the industry, lack of visitors to my market page, or maybe my domains are not as valuable as I have led myself to believe. 😁 🤣

Might be a little of each? I feel this way at times as well
