The PROS & CONS of parking Queen.com (1.Viewing)

I visited the the Domain Kings (Rick Schwartz) domain Queen.com today and got the error above.

Upon disabling my Ad Blocker I got the page below.






It's funny that even the most experienced domainers will still accept the added risks of PPC parking on exceptionally valuable domain names.

Is it about the income?

Is it about the fact they have no active website?

Why are people doing this when they know ad blockers virtually decrease their traffic by 1/2 ?

I wonder if he's still making same amount:

Rick already won a big UDRP on that generic domain (it was his front page at his Hall of Shame for years) and his legal team stands ready to defend it again.

Of course, but Rick is the last person to be afraid of putting ads on their ultra-valuable .COM domains. Plus, most legal firms know what happens when you poke that bear, and leave him alone.

I love his stories about lawyers being fired and partners getting in trouble for a RDNH on one of his domains + a Twitter rant + a trip to the Hall of Shame. He posted some of his "please take my name off!" begging emails and it was hilarious. And that idiot from Space.io became so notorious from his Twitter rants with Rick that he later said he'd contact potential clients and they'd respond with "Hey, you're the guy that tried to steal Spase.com!".

Every domain investor in the world owes The Domain King a debt of gratitude for highlighting these evil, unethical tactics for everyone to see, as there are probably countless spurious UDRPs that went unfiled because of his efforts.
