Someone seems really bored on a Saturday and decided to go on GD and offer a bunch of lowball offers…. Anyone here? lol

Lol I just got 6 offers too, all within 21 minutes.

Just got on offer a few minutes ago for $1,100 for hapi.ca

Seems legit but will be ignored because the domain has a buy now price that is reasonable if the party is truly interested.

Also strange it resolves to dan yet the offer comes via godaddy.

LOL, I was just going to look if anyone else got hammered by the GD lowballers....

I must have got 40 offers just now, most at $20, but a few at $25 and $99 as well. This hit like a huge wave and it looks like some nimrod got a new GoDaddy account and is looking to "get rich quick" with a mass of lowballs.

I believe all of mine resolve to DAN as well. I guess people like to use GD to be incognito. I had 1 offer for $49 so after GD’s commission it’s about $40. *NO*

If your minimum bid is higher on Dan than GD, then that's the reason right there - plenty of sites you can go to in order to find the lowest offer price, and that's what they hammerheads want.

I did have one $1000 offer. I’m upto 7 or 8 offers.

Maybe some dickhead is trying the strategy where he sends out hundreds of $20 lowballs, and then hopes at least a few hit the "Accept" rather than "Counter" button - or make a mistake with the Counter Offer - $30 rather than 3000. LOL

Or hoping someone will counter while intoxicated and enter the wrong number for a counter….. In that case, they should have made all of these offers in the evening or late at night when some people like to drink. lol

Maybe someone thinks that's the BIN. Dofo.com and Domaintools.com whois shows the minimum offer as the bin for Godaddy listed domains.

You'd have to be pretty freaking stupid to think that, as you have to load the domain page and enter the amount into a field clearly marked "Your Offer".

I've seen this idiocy before and it's just a nitwit playing "toss spaghetti on the wall and see what sticks" with domainers. Either that, or he's just yanking everyone's chain.

Did everyone’s offers stop as soon as this topic was posted?
