It sounds like her comment was taken out of context to be fair. She didn't tell families to skip a meal, she was giving an example of what the cost is of the tax hikes is. Still I think the public should always push back on higher taxes, maybe when governments can prove they aren't wasting money on frivolous things then I'll be more understanding. It sounds like a little, but when everything is going up a little, and every year, it adds up to A LOT.
