Trudeau finally make the American News (2.Viewing)

Nothing wrong with hating Trudeau. He brings it on himself.

But, all the memes, and faux news will not effect the next election because the Conservatives don’t have a leader who has the vision to lead us out of this hole we have dug ourself into. I don’t think the current guy has the IT factor. I also don’t want to see a Trump clone.

I want to see a conservative version of JFK. When they speak you hang onto every word. When their speech is over you walk away feeling like that’s the best speech you ever heard and you feel inspired. As well they need to bring a vision and ambition that all Canadians can get behind and excited about.

Without a real leader your just going to push the votes to Jagmeet with these little snippets that get you all excited and then we are in real trouble. The NDP would be a true clusterf*ck.

I think O'toole's time is almost up. There is hope!

The way the Federal seats are gerrymandered out (effectively screwing the West, while giving Quebec + East Coast a significant advantage) and how the demographics have changed (new Canadians vote Liberal) it is virtually impossible for the PCs to win an election, no matter their leader.

The leadership doesn't matter on any party, it's how effectively the Liberals have coordinated their efforts to effectively remain in power (minority of majority) for the foreseeable future. Trudeau was shown in blackface multiple times (imagine a PC leader in the same spot), clearly displayed his misogynistic side, acted like the trust fund brat he is, and had the most ethics violations in the history of Canada... yet he's still there.

The only hope the PC party has is if the Bloc can win enough seats in Quebec to join with the PCs and form a minority government, but that's a slim chance at best and depends on the Liberal leader screwing up bad, like blackface bad.

Mark my words, you will not see a Federal PC majority in your lifetimes or any lifetime - the Liberals have made sure of that.

I would love to see O'Toole replaced with Pierre Poilievre.

He seems to be a front runner. He is a great attack dog on the opposition.

I’m not convinced he brings the IT factor as a leader.

Before the bloc, conservatives dominated Quebec. Quebec by nature is a conservative province.

And the Bloc still exists right? So the PC party needs the Bloc to dominate Quebec in order to form a minority government with them.

They had a huge change last time with Blackface Trudeau bleeding support, but the Bloc just couldn't get the votes.

You can’t make a deal with a separatist party. The optics will haunt you for years.

They need to offer Quebec something the bloc can’t and knock the bloc out. What that is…I don’t know. But Quebec showed a willingness to replace the bloc when they unexpectedly voted NDP.q

so you're saying we need New Kids On The Bloc?

LOL, oh yeah the Bloc is a real separatist party... :D

Other than the 3rd World in the East Coast, Quebec is by far the weakest economy in Canada, and receives the lion's share of transfer payments. The Bloc has never wanted to officially break away from Canada and create a new country, their mandate is to squeeze the most money out of Canada as possible, while waving their little "we may separate" stick.

Look at their mandate for the next few years - more health funding from Ottawa, more "green energy" funding from Ottawa, increase equalization payments for Quebec, increase other transfer payments, etc. The Bloc is all about money.

Can you share your magic crystal ball that allows you to see into the future?

One does not need a magic crystal ball for that.

I have been a conservative my entire life and as of recently decided I will not vote for the Tool again.
He stands for nothing and all my friends in politics (some in the party) are saying he will have a rough time staying leader.

If he is still in I will vote for the Peoples Party next time

Erin O’Toole was just removed as the Conservative leader earlier today!
I was implying that the timing of his comment was on point.

I knew it was coming but I was thinking he would hang on until Friday

This was a gift from heaven, they need a leader with charisma who can actually make policies and stick to them without flip flopping every other day.

I say let a woman in there, someone to give the incumbents a run for the money.

Leslyn Lewis would be a great leader for the Conservatives. That would go against a lot of many leftists think of conservatives these days.
