I didn't know tyre was more commonly used in the UK for tire. So it would be a pretty large market for vehicle tires, 68 million population in UK vs 40 million in Canada for comparison.
If the domain sold in GBP that's like $535,000 CAD. Got me wondering if Tires.ca would sell for anything close to that, and I'd lean towards no.
Seems like a really good sale for a country code domain, there is already a coming soon page so it looks like it will be a UK business. Good example of someone using the category defining word for their business.

Yeah, I have a bunch of free ebooks I downloaded from various UK vendors, and they always use "tyre" and it drives me crazy. Same with "torch" instead of flashlight. And there are lots more.
