I kind of had to shake my head and do a double take.

I don't think those two domains come anywhere near the remarks he is making about them.

I guess every single domain is rare if you consider they are all different but I would not be hyping those domains the way he is.
 
Great names. Not rare in the sense that there are 100 NN.coms in existence (if you include 00). but rare in the sense that there's probably not a lot on the market right now if at all

Agreed but I'm talking about him claiming they are two of the rarest domains on earth.

Seriously, that is a far out there claim, there are thousands of domains more valuable and rare than those two.
 
I think he means "rare on the open market" as these short numeric domains are red-hot in China and you hardly ever seen them. I remember a back when Rick sold off some of his (I think he got out of numerics) it created a real stir in the Asian market.

89.com is especially good because 8 is the luckiest number in Chinese numerology and 9 is also good because of how it is used.
