One of the things I like about .ca's is when they drop it's an open system and numerous registrars have an opportunity to reclaim the domain.
Most .com's are registered at GoDaddy and they end up at GoDaddy expiring auctions which does not sit right with me. I'm not sure I like one company dominating that much of the drop. I have a couple of .com's I'm considering dropping and they are registered at WHC.
So my question is.... Where will they end up, who will have first crack at them, I don't think think WHC registers the .com's themselves, most registrars will kind of sublet it to openSRS/tucows or something similar.
Can anyone explain the process of a .com dropping at WHC?
