A while back I purchased a domain from @Nafti and transferred it in to godaddy.

Usually godaddy changes the contact information for me automatically but a few weeks back I noticed the whois was still in the previous owners name and only the Billing information was in my name.

I left the contact information because godaddy shows it locks .ca domains for 60 days should the contact information be changed.
So as of today I can transfer it out so I unlocked the domain and signed into my WHC control panel to initiate a transfer.

I paid for the transfer and was expecting an email from WHC asking me for the transfer code.
When I did not get it I checked the control panel to see if there was something in there showing some kind of a record of the domain transfer being initiated.

Nothing, I am assuming WHC has sent the email to the registered owner but should I not be getting an email allowing me to input the transfer code?
Since I initiated it from my control panel in WHC I should have an in progress or something showing it is in the works.

I left a message with Nafti asking him about what he received but he is probably at work and I have not heard from him.

Strange, other than the bill I have seen nothing on the WHC side.

@FM is there something I'm missing?

It looks like this domain has a registry/CIRA lock due to a recent transfer, it should be removed today and then the transfer can proceed.

Plus I received an email so it looks like all is well.

Yes, we had a bit of a backlog today with processing orders. Hence there was an initial delay.
