Will Israel go nuclear? (2.Viewing)

The title is a little bit of click bait...

By Nuclear I don't necessarily mean nuclear weapons as much as I mean NUCLEAR in their response.


That said the Gaza strip will probably be a wasteland when all this is settled, the only question will be... is it inhabitable or not.


I'm trying to understand this whole war thing in Gaza and Israel and I don't profess to know all the details, I just mourn for the innocent lives lost on both sides. It's funny how the common people always suffer from the decisions of their leaders.

I won't pray for one side or the other, but I will pray for the innocent women and children who will forever be scarred by this.

Personally, I think they're going to bomb them back to the Stone Age.

So Hamas just killed hundreds of innocent civilians and then this…….. How can anyone support this?

If someone is from Palestine and you’re out there waving the Palestine flag at a time such as this, shame on you!

I didn’t want to post or get in a political debate on a domain forum but you realize that the Israeli media pumps out fake media to the U.S. and they run with it. Not sure how much you know about Israel/Palestine conflict but this didn’t just start a week ago. It has been ongoing for a very long time. Palestine has been under occupation for 75 years and if you do a little research you will see that Israelis have been killing Palestinians nearly every year and it all goes unreported. If you do a little research you will see it all.

In regards to Palestinians killing innocent civilians the majority of everything that has come out from media outlets has all been debunked and proved to be false.

1. beheading babies
2. Rape
3. The concert killing 260 people (no actual confirmation this actually happened and many fact checkers have looked into this and and found videos posted predate the actual incident they are reporting.

So please before you condemn the ones being oppressed and under occupation do a little bit of research.

I don't think anyone can just brush this all and consider all this to be fabricated or false. I haven't seen anything to that effect. As someone who has been affected in the same manner, I quite understand that both parties tend to claim that they were the victims. We only know who started it.

It is far from the truth in order to allow Israel to attack Palestine. I don’t think you do know who started it. Do some research that is outside western media.

Which is the same in most of our western two party political systems.

Everyone takes the credit but nobody takes the blame.

It's important to remember that Israel declared war against Hamas (a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood), an Iran-funded terrorist group that currently holds power in Palestine and is only Iran-funded because Palestine's location gives them close and easy access to serve their mandate of killing Israelites and destroying Israel. And Israel counters this by trying to limit Hamas incursions and rocket strikes through an occupation of Palestine (following the Six-Day War in 1967), which Hamas opposes, and naturally crap happens between the two.

Iran and Israel are mortal enemies - think the USA and Russia in the 80's times 100. Hamas is Iran's closest military arm to Israel without actually declaring war on Israel, and this conflict has been going on long before the Israeli occupation. If Palestine was "freed" tomorrow the Hamas offensive would not stop, and in fact, it would only intensify given the easier access to loading up munitions and armed forces on the Israeli border.

If you think that the Iran-sponsored Hamas are the "good guys" and are just "trying to free the people of Palestine" then you're not worth conversing with. Gaza and the West Bank are just incredibly-valuable beachheads for Iran to effectively launch attacks (by proxy) on Israel.

And yes, many non-Hamas Palestinians are sadly caught in the middle, but that's the sad fact of any war. The innocent always pay for the wicked.

I actually know a significant amount with regards to Israel and Palestine as I have previously worked with people from both sides. They have filled me in and I know what’s going on. This isn’t my first BBQ.

Try searching “music attack Israel” and tell me what shows up on X. Are you telling me they are all “fake news”?

Anyways, I have one question for you and I would love for you to answer on a public forum.

Would you consider Hamas a terrorist organization? Can you answer or pull a CBC and BBC.

The definition of terrorism from Dictionary.com.

“the unlawful use of violence or threats to intimidate or coerce a civilian population or government, with the goal of furthering political, social, or ideological objectives.”

Just from the definition, I believe some Governments over the last 2-3 years have committed some kind of “terrorism”. Some would say that we have experienced that here in Canada…. By definition of the word “terrorism”.

So judging by the definition of the word terrorism, it’s quite possible that Likud has done some sort of “terrorism”.

So there is a line on what exactly makes someone a terrorist.

@theinvestor, Many countries (Canada included) has put Hamas on the terrorist organizations list. Why do you think that is? Would you put Likud or Hamas on that list? Do you believe that Hamas has killed over 1000 civilians in Israel last weekend?

@Nafti OK so they killed over 1000 people in Israel and Israel has killed more than 2700 people in Palestine so far which includes 700+ children in a week. That’s nearly 25% of how many have been killed already in the war in Ukraine which has been going on for more than a year.

The Israeli government has openly declared their intention to commit war crimes and have proceeded with those war crimes. They have made it known and have done so by starving the people of Gaza, cutting off their electricity and their supply of water. 2.2 million people in the most condensed populated area in the world and they are using the most sophisticated missiles which they are aiming at hospitals, schools and residential buildings.

Yet you’re talking to me about Hamas as if that’s the equivalence of what’s happening to the Palestinian people and has been happening for decades. The U.S supports these acts of war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity while you sit here and tell me that an Israeli life is worth more than a Palestinian life. People who don’t even have the most basic rights of human life.

While this goes on the Likud party is talking about a mass expulsion of millions of people within 24 hours out of Gaza in order to claim more of Palestinian land.

@theinvestor You sure love trying to put words in peoples mouths. WHERE did I say that??? I believe ALL life is equal. Black, white, brown, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, etc….. We are all created equally. I think you can agree with that. Or can you?

Are you kidding me @Nafti you post some BS Twitter post or article whatever that was you posted here about how Palestinians are celebrating Israelis dying. Says who? Some Twitter post with a dozen likes from some ridiculous article source? Palestinians came out to protest the occupation. Many peaceful protests around the world. They are under occupation. They have no voice. They are happy to go out and protest any chance they get if someone is going to listen to them.

Anyone reading your posts knows which side you’re on just like anyone reading my post will know what side I’m on. You can dribble around it anyway you want by asking me questions about Hamas and now including Likud but it is pretty obvious your views. There are twisted and far from the truth. You have no clue what you’re talking about. Having “friends” you know of both sides is far from the reality of what’s actually happening. You will never know the truth unless you’re there. When you live through this nightmare and you get kicked out of your home; then come back and talk to me about Hamas being a terrorist group.
