James Woods is pretty far out there but he makes some valid points.

For me, I am for everyone making the choice for themselves.
I think if you are concerned you should wear a mask but you should not force that opinion onto someone else.

If you think a mask offers protection then wear one and let everyone else make their own decision. It's actually pretty simple if you think about it.

James Woods is a genius with an IQ of 184, but like all smart people, what he says is often both prescient and scary so it's tough to listen to, especially when he rants.

I think they'll have a hard time getting people to go back to masks, shots, and any kind of lockdowns, given what we now know of the last time around.

Fool me once, not twice

Choice. If I or a family member prefer or feel safer or feel I am making someone else safer using one it is nobody’s business but that works both ways. I love freedom of choice.
I alway got a kick out of Bill Maher(who I generally align with..especially about wokeness) the loudly proclaimed “libertarian “ railing on people wearing masks. If they’re not telling you to wear one what business is it of a “libertarian”.

Clearly that's a "don't sue me if you get covid" style legal statement. This is a ludicrously litigious world we live in.

And clearly, if I'm coughing and wearing a mask, my radius of droplet dispersal will be less than had I not wore a mask.

It is quite frankly very stupid to argue that a mask does not provide some additional layer of protection. Precisely how much may certainly be argued, but to claim it has zero impact tells me your IQ is well below 100.

This is another case of the extremes. The extreme right as whacked. The extreme left is whacked. Reality is somewhere in the middle. Apparently we just can't have an intelligent conversation with the extremes any more.

I guess the million dollar question is if cloth masks really work against Covid. I think they can help but IMO, not even close to 100% effective. My Daughter and I have been having this ongoing discussion for over 2 years now. We recently went to a concert in Toronto where she wore hers and I did not. During Covid, I did wear one from time to time but refused to wear one outside as I believe in breathing in clear air rather than my own.

I was at a few locations outside during the midst of Covid where masks were mandatory but I refused to wear one. There is normally a way around everything.
