These don't get a very large attendance (Ottawa projects about 1,000 participants), but it's a WordPress-focused event, organized by WP community. Experts, developers and regular users.
 
My instinct based on the name and this industry was that it was WordPress related. However, that is kind of a poor name as it certainly makes it open to many other possibilities (as pointed out by others). WPcamp would have been better. WordPressCamp would have been ultra clear. Not that you have anything to do with that name but if you're there you could certainly mention that the branding police here on DN.ca are issuing a citation for "naming without due care and attention", haha.
 
I don't care for WordPress, so much of the internet runs on it that it's one of the worlds most attacked software's.

Much better off security wise using something else.
