In case everyone is wondering I sent Zak an email last night and he was kind enough to join.

I have been hoping to get some kind of legal representation on the board and @Zak looks to be our Canadian expert.

I had a discussion with a member yesterday and he will be contacting you about his CDRP

Many thanks :). Please note that I am a CDRP panelist so if I am consulted about a case that means that I would probably be disqualified from serving as a panelist on it.

I would take my chances with that and would rather have you on my side as a consultant than a panelist.

Members ask me what you typically charge for a CDRP

Not planning to, as I have a conflict with those dates and family. As you know me by now, family comes first, hands down. So, no, I am not headed that way to Texas.

As for NamesCon - unfortunately not going.

NamesCon just picks the worst times to have a conference for me personally.

Its hard to pick a perfect time to have Namescon, but I wouldn't think the last week of summer vacation is it, especially Austin in August??? Ugh.

I personally liked the October timeframe that T.R.A.F.F.I.C. used to do.

In any case, happy to see you here @Zak !

I am setting the wheels in motion for a Canadian VIDEO version of namescon.

We can have a poll and set the best date for the majority and I am looking for speakers and sponsors for the event.

Video=online? May talk to fellow Montrealer Arif, who ran Page Howe's online conference and also organized many "The Domain Social" Zoom chats for domainers during the pandemic after taking them over from Michael Cyger.
