    SquadHelp.com rebrands as Atom.com

Like I said, I looked at them and nixed them pretty well right away. In reality NOTHING beats your own landers with ZERO commission. Don't have your own landers for .CA? Look at my profile and copy what I do to be 100% commission free.

Lost a sale because of GoDaddy appraisal

GoDaddy is not factoring in that domainers have overhead costs. In some cases domainers with thousands of domains may only sell 1-2 per year and the prices quoted are also for the upkeep of a catalog that kept the domain available for that special project when a client needed it.

Do You Know When to go Singular or Plural?

Some plurals are instantly better than singular and sometimes its the other way around. When I purchased Holidays.ca I specifically wanted it and not Holiday.ca That was technically unusual for me because I mostly prefer singular domains.

    Discount Domain Club - Renewal

Got this notice today, GoDaddy was trying to renew my discount club. Good thing my Credit Card on file there was expired  $965.97 + HST = $1091.54 And they're still more expensive than the competition? Thing is the GoDaddy Auctions with automatic renewal kinda hooks you in when you...

    Namecheap

I had to move in 152 .com's, which I separated from acquired catalogs, and I ended up picking DynaDot to manage them. I've had domains there in the past but found things a bit convoluted with two sets of passwords and such so I will post back when I can review them with a bit more detail.

    Summer Doldrums & Winter Blues

Each lander has its distinct price, the inquiry form which is used for all domains has a 1k minimum. That is only because the form is used everywhere, the sales landers specifies the minimum offers or the selling price.

    Summer Doldrums & Winter Blues

I have nothing at GoDaddy, someone else listed those. Funny thing is GoDaddy keeps emailing me that pure.ca is now available for purchase. I removed everything from GoDaddy, afternic, Dan and auction quite a while back. If any of my domains are on GoDaddy it's not my doing, I deleted...

    Summer Doldrums & Winter Blues

That was a totally different situation, I was just gauging godaddy traffic. On my landers I set my minimum offers as realistic as I could but that's the beauty of OFFERS, you can still change them on a per case basis.

    Summer Doldrums & Winter Blues

One has to consider the minimum offer carefully, would you actually sell for that amount? In my case I consider the number carefully but it also leaves an opening for the rare situation that a large corporation comes calling. That is why some of mine are offers and not BIN, if Facebook bids on...

The $69 broker fee on GoDaddy keeps me away for sure, I just use whois contact instead. GoDaddy really needs to rethink that fee, I bet they lose more than they gain from it.
