This has been happening for a long time. May be it's not that they pay more, could it be because others don't indulge in it?? Registrants being screwed by Registrars/Parking companies, has been like the old profession. Can't stop it.

I am still trying to see what comes up at itbusiness.ca after the $20,000+ bid. Same landers that we are all accustomed to. However for the more recent ones I would say, gambling galore!

Saw a domain going for $2300 on WHC today from last week's drop - churchwellesleyvillage.ca. I will not bid even $50 on it. :p

Simple + specific. Wow.. even with a list like today, there were 91 domains re-registered. Someone bid $200 on a domain and I can't still figure out which one it is.

Honestly, I don't think so. Those platforms have 100s of bidders online and bidding on 1000+ items. So it is a much busier auction than the domain auction at WHC where a handful bid against each other.

I participate in many other auctions ( not just domains) and I don't have any issues with the "outbid" notices arriving in my inbox on time, except for WHC.
