Notice I sent a support ticket to INTERNIC.CA and the title of the support ticket says REBEL.COM

I find that a bit odd, does Rebel own Internic?

Domain Name Registration, Web Hosting Plans, Email & More

Thank you George

When I ran a Mercedes_Benz franchise virtually all domains, hosting etc was provided by Internic. There was never a question about using anyone else and as long as I can remember domains were three times the price as in other places.

It seems Internic has a real stranglehold on corporate canada and continues to command a nice tidy profit margin.

It is an interesting topic to me to see the correlation of Momentous, Rebel and Afternic because I'm pretty sure Afternic was it's own company and I have not read about the news of a sale to Momentous/Rebel so if anyone has any info, ie: acquisition cost etc I would be interested in seeing it.

Afternic has been owned by GoDaddy for some years now and was never part of Momentous, IIRC. They do have a AfternicDLS implementation though at rebel/internic.

Internic also used to be the name of the first place to register .COM/.NET/.ORG before it became Network Solutions and then was split into Network Solutions and Verisign. However, Internic.net wasn't related to Momentous either as far as I know.

Sorry that was me saying Afetnic instead of Internic, I am so used to saying Afternic

The topic is INTERNIC not afternic
