Here we go again.....
I am sure the 4 LLLs released by CIRA will get some good attention.
Other than that, yet to see anything standout..
Who knows if Chefs is next, after Cooks this week. LOL.

Be honest, how many checked the domain?? Both .Com and .Ca do not resolve.

The LLLs are definitely the star of the show, potentially along with Cover, if someone gets a hankerin' for it.

But overall, it's a big letdown from the last two weeks for sure.

Has anyone here ever sold any NNNNN? I highly doubt it.
77777.ca & 99999.ca are listed for sale. 33333.ca and 44444.ca still available.
I see 17 NNNNNs this week, which is a bit unusual.
But we had almost that many LLLs in the pool during the last TBR.

The only one I would consider is all eight's

88888.ca but I would pass on that one too.

Hey Frank,

Below, you'll find some of the hottest .CA domains available to backorder this week. These names will likely attract attention, so place your bid before 2023-01-25 at 2:45 pm ET sharp to get in on the auction.

If you're looking for something more specific, you can always search the full list with your own keywords.

Want to learn more about domains and backordering? ... We recommend you read about the lifecycle of a domain name, domain investing and domain backordering.

And stay tuned! The next few weeks promise to be exciting and full of opportunities for those into domain backordering. Starting this week and until the end of March, CIRA will be releasing thousands of previously blocked domains (.CA domains that have never been made available before.) You can find the full list and release dates here.

Don't see the name you want? Stay tuned for next week's backorder list!

Happy bidding!

Cheers,
Frank (Chief Domain Nerd here at WHC)

Now that was a crazy TBR - it seems that every Tom, Dick and Harry in Canada is taking part in the TBR.

I feel sorry for businesses who want to buy a domain in 2023, as Current TBR Prices + Annual Sell-Through Rates = Nosebleed Resale List Prices (just to break even)

MyID took a break today

They did okay from my perspective, but I might be going for different names than the usual crowd.

But the TBR demand and the prices being paid for what I view as low-end lottery tickets is absolutely insane. It's like a mania has taken over.

It’s very surprising to see pre- auction prices rise so high. Don’t know if people understand that there is another auction to bid at.

I don’t think people understand that they don’t have to bid twice or thrice to be in the auction. Once is enough. With this high a pre-auction price there should be atleast 30-50 people voting for the same domain. I can’t believe it’s the case. I know no one will admit it but need to be told.

I learned this the hard way
