Who is the carrier for .com's at WHC? (1.Viewing)

Some Canadian registrars use companies like tucows/opensrs to register .com's and the whois shows that registrar instead of where the domain was purchased. Does whc do the same or are they registered as an independent .com registrar?

WHC is an ICANN-accredited registrar, so we register .COMs directly with Verisign, and most other TLDs directly with the registry. This wasn't always the case, but WHC became ICANN accredited when we bought Sibername (before I joined).
