The danger of GoDaddy/Afternic Fast Transfer (2.Viewing)

OMG, I can't tell you how much I hate this service... Boom and your domain is gone.

At least there is a safety now, so many people lost their domains.

Am glad I pulled out of Dan.com because they seem to ignore the NO AFTERNIC setting and push everything to Afternic anyways and from there on it's pushed to GoDaddy and all the other services.

So you don't have to have Fast Transfer activated, it just kind of happens all on it's own



I know @DomainTrader will have something to say about all of this.

Fast Transfer was designed by thieves and for thieves, and is my far the most dangerous feature investors (and even end users) have to deal with.

Given the track record of lost domains with fast transfer a hesitation to use the service would seem prudent.
