They're selling subdomains and quite honestly MapleDots.it.com looks like crap compared to MapleDots.com
Who in their right mind would build a business on someone elses sub domain?

US.com started doing this like nearly 2 decades ago. I think it was intended to be a poor man's ccTLD.
So probably only italians would consider it, and only just the dumb ones.
