I have contractors at the house this week and they are giving me a massive headache, I thought they would be done already but they are screwing up big time. Every single time I look away they do something wrong, the easiest possible route to do things instead of doing it right.
They were supposed to be out of here two days ago but half the stuff is done wrong and I have to completely babysit. I would love to make it but this thing is causing me a massive headache right now. I have to wait and see how far they get, if they are not done I cannot leave for fear of irreversible screw ups.

I hope it works out well and that you can still make it. Renovations are always stressful.
We're cancelling the dinner for this Friday as there just aren't enough registrations at this point. We'll regroup and plan anew.
