TBR Drop - Sep 27, 2023 (1.Viewing)

I have stopped sticking the TBR topics and have removed the Prefixes.

This way I'm not always chasing 3 prefixes and topics whenever things change and Members can open the new topic.

So the Topic Owner for this week is our own Eby @Eby

Thanks for helping out (y)

I didn't think the TBR list would get any WORSE than last week, but it just did.

Agreed, as I would not only welcome a week away from spending money but also saving all the time and effoert invested in following multiple auctions.

I hope it gets WORSE.

No doubt. I was just starting to get a jump on my year end (Oct 31 for me) and gross revenues are already very good with a month+ to go. But I'm cringing at the thought of tabulating this year's expenses.

I would not even want to calculate my net loss on June-August this year as I was just bleeding money for almost 3 months with zero revenue. But I kept to the plan, buying new domains and renewing...

This summer was the very definition of ugly.

Below, you'll find some of the hottest .CA domains available to bid on this week. These names will likely attract attention, so place your bid before 2023-09-27 at 2:45 pm ET sharp to get in on the auction.

If you're looking for something more specific, you can always search the full list with your own keywords.

Don't see the name you want? Stay tuned for next week's backorder list!

Happy bidding!

I saw barney.ca for sale in the namepost section for 700 bucks. How much you think it would bring at tbr?

Right now, and without the above listing, probably $300-$500.

First names are not the big deal they were - a couple of big sales, Jane, John, etc. created a bit of a stir and led to a short-term bump in TBR prices but things have settled down since then.

This week's TBR List is by far the best wallet-protection scheme I've ever seen. It's essentially FSN or Bust!

Wallet is safe!

Frank, I have a question:

Exactly when is WHC's TBR Hot List finalized?

I just went there today to place some bids and noticed it's grown again (adding esportsplay.ca and goldcosmetics.ca) from the list that was posted online, and I am wondering at what point it's actually final and closed?

Generally speaking, it should be finalized on Monday after the CIRA list is finished, but we have added names to it at a later point. I've removed those names again though, as I see where this is going. Thank you for pointing this out.
