[h]New GoDaddy domain listing wizard generates 350k aftermarket listings[/h]

DomainNameWire.com said:
GoDaddy recently made listing domains for sale easier for all of its customers, not just domain name investors. Customers who have unused domain names in their accounts can walk through a wizard to list their domains for sale through the company’s GoDaddy network.

I saw an article about the new wizard here:
https://domainnamewire.com/2021/02/...g-wizard-generates-350k-aftermarket-listings/

So I decided to do some investigating with a random domain hapi.ca

In the settings I found this:

Right lower click on list for sale

Insert your price

Decide if you want to use their landing page

Bam you are done and listed at GoDaddy/Afternic

Wow what a tool for ordinary consumers who want to sell a surplus domain

I put $5000 as the selling price and the only odd thing I see is that the selling price is not stated.

I will try to figure out if there is a setting to change that.

GD is testing out a BIN option now with their own names and will roll it out to everyone else later this year

Seems like they're revamping the entire lander because they finally added a prominent GoDaddy logo just in the last couple months

These are essentially the new and improved Afternic "price request" landers. There's never been an option to add a bin, and these all result in you getting a "price request" email from Afternic (or at least I'm pretty sure).

GD is working on BIN landers, like [notify]Spex[/notify] said. We don't have many details but I also made a post about it here not long ago: https://dn.ca/topic/526/godaddy-to-introduce-buy-now-lander/
