Yes, I've seen similar things where each Nameserver has their own domain. When set up correctly this should not be a reason for it to not work.
Obviously the domain is unreachable but I was wondering if anyone else has seen similar in WHOIS?
In this case it is not done correctly, the domain does not resolve.
