Hello everyone,

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m sharing this incident where the person goes by the name of Naveed Yusuf, using x.com as X (formerly Twitter) handle and info@411media.net for email communication.

Almost all of the communication we had was over X platform and in total I paid him $17,500 via Wise in total 10 separate transactions. His Wise email ID is payment@411media.net. His PayPal ID is info@411corp.com and contact number is +1-416-457-3411.

Some of the below domains he still owns or may have sold/dropped during the time we exchanged messages were as follows:

I've been scammed by a few people that did that including a relative.

They borrow a small sum, pay it back, borrow more pay it back and gain your trust.

Then boom, they borrow a large amount and disappear, my own brother in law did that and years later I told my sister (his wife) and she accused me of trying to break them up. I'm still shocked my sister did not believe me but it goes to show how deceptive some people can be.

I got scammed by Yusuf as well. He goes by the name of Josef and his email: dns.admin@r-d.net and calls himself Brand IQ. I think his profile here is: https://dn.ca/members/cdn.396/

I had done a nice transaction with him in 2018 for the doman IAQ.ca for $5500 and we always stayed in contact. I always wanted to buy one of his domain Handy.ca but he didn't want or his price was way too much for me. Last May he needed money bad and sent me this email:

"Well you can send me $1500, if I can cannot give you back $2000 by the end of the month, you can have handy.ca." The etransfer email is: support@icitycorp.com

I've been bugging him ever since and once in a while he replies with some excuse that he will pay on whatever day which never happens. Anyone else got scammed by him? The screenshot is from 2018. Thanks for going public.

I’ve received many messages from him also when he was looking to get money. But just curious why would you lend him money without taking ownership of the domain first?
We already had done a good transaction before, but I do have regrets now in not doing so. Definitely the way to go.

Naveed Yusuf still hasn't reached out or pay any money back, beware of him.

Great, yet another Canadian success story. :poop:

No one seems to want to build a business here anymore, they just want to scam and steal - there were several "hot new Canadian startups" that won all kinds of big awards and grants, then it turns out they were either money landering/selling air or involved in GST/HST rebate reseller scams, and all are in the process of being shut down/fined/charged.

And the US recently arrested a pile of "senior scammers" in a major North American sting and guess where they were located? Montreal.

What a great look that is for Canada. The US is the Home of the Free and Canada is the Home of the Scammers and Fraudsters.

Most of the scams are new immigrants and we're stupid enough to let them in.

It's sad that people don't come for a new life and to build something anymore, they just smell money. Immigration has always included a range of people, but with the good outweighing the bad. Unfortunately, under the Liberals, that ratio is going in the wrong direction and will eventually destroy the country.

I was in Best Buy and while unlocking a portable Blu-ray drive for me, an Arabic girl working there told me she couldn't believe the amount of crime in Canada, and that she came to Canada to escape it. Unfortunately, she said, all the criminals in her country must have migrated to Canada too.

And as the CRA and the RCMP have stated, Canada's criminal and financial laws are designed around a 1950's society where 99% of people are law-abiding, so we're like a fat pig just primed for the slaughter. Canada is like a blind guy walking around Jane & Finch with millions of dollars in his pockets.

And worst of all, this Liberal-created crime wave has absolutely overloaded the courts so that a significant number of cases are being stayed due to delays. It's like a circus here and Carney is now the new ring leader.

And now we're getting them pretending to be Inuit in order to steal benefits. Where is this going to end?:

I need a time machine to go back before Trudeau came to power and totally ruined this country.

I was watching a 1980's movie last night where a man was talking to his son and trying to make him understand what a great country he lived in and why. His main point was that "we are made up of 'pioneer stock' with the ability to persevere, work hard, and create something" and the theme that was each generation walked through the manure in order to make life better for the next generation.

Not anymore. Now, people roll into Canada looking to have a Mansion and a Mercedes the day they walk off the plane and usually with bad intentions on how to get it.

And Canadians have absolutely no identity or lineage and we're not even taught our history (because supposedly it would 'trigger' some people), and Trudeau's mass immigration program has radically exacerbated an existing problem. What is a Canadian? Your guess is as good as mine, especially in 2025.

It's like we're a nation of Woody's (from Toy Story) floating though life like a pack of drooling morons, without the faintest idea of who were or what our history is. What kind of a way is that to go through life?

Politicians and idiots now refer to Canada as a "country of immigrants" to defuse concerns, but that neglects First Nations and Inuit, as well as the fact that it took over 500 years to slowly build our population to 33 million yet only 9 short years for Trudeau to crank it up to 42 million, and solely through migration. Think about those shocking population numbers and the fact that they link to about 97.8% of our current problems.

And with a Liberal government in charge, things are only gonna get worse. So 'fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy ride.'

For the record, I was never a fan of Trudeau, but facts do matter. When he became PM the Canadian Population was 36,000,000 and grew at a rate of 0.8% - 1.8% / year - pretty much in line with historical trends - check out the 1946-1968 - now that was growth!!

From the same page: The "2016 Canadian census counted a total population of 35.1 million" and Trudeau came to power a year before, and some of the numbers I've seen are 33,XXX for 2015 (close to 34,000, so I naturally rounded down for effect.

I really hope it's all wine and roses for Canada the next 50 years or so, but sadly I don't share your view and a lot of very smart people think we're a few years from driving off the literal cliff.

I think it will take some high profile person or one of their family members to be a victim of a serious crime for politicians to start taking it seriously. Doesn't matter to them that it's happening to the regular people. Police and law enforcement are capable of cleaning it up, they just need the backing from above. They have gotten results in the US I don't see why Canada couldn't do the same.

I didn't actual give my view about the state of things... just wanted to clarify that Immigration is not trending higher as a percentage of the population and is much lower than in the 40's, 50's and 60's - we can debate how to better vet immigrants so that we invite newcomers that meet the requirements and needs of the Canadian economy, but if you study the aging population of Japan, you will see that there is a tipping point, when 30% of the population is over 65, it is horrible for the economy and growth. Canada is now close to 20% and the only way to keep the number down is immigration, unless you can get Canadians to start having 3 or 4 kids per family (and you know that won't happen)
