Have played a few times for fun for a couple of years, but now we've joined a club and will start playing more and getting into games where you keep score, and learning the actual rules.

Fastest growing sport in North America I've heard, probably due to it being the perfect sport for aging baby boomers and Gen X'ers, and really fun and easy to play for anyone. Smaller court that tennis and a slower ball speed than a tennis ball also helps.
