Moosehead Beer, great brand, great logo, but... (2.Viewing)

Running under Moose head.ca not MooseHeadBeer.ca although MooseHeadBeer.ca does forward to MooseHead.ca so excellent move on their advertising department but that's where it ends and it starts to go awry.

As soon as you hit the SHOP link it goes to mooseheadbeershop.ca which makes you wonder why not just use their own domain shop.moosehead.ca or moosehead.ca/shop which should both point to the same place.

Or even shop.mooseheadbeer.ca would be a decent alternative.

Technically the best move is to buy all of them and point them to the shortest common denominator which is shop.mooshead.ca which is always what I have done for my businesses.

I'm glad they are only watering down their web address and not their beer because MooseHead is still one of the beers I purchase when I rarely have a beer.

AlexanderKeiths runs under Keiths.ca and AlexanderKeiths.ca does not resolve.

Coincidentally it's the beer I used to drink before so coincidentally both of the beers I liked featured MooseHeads.

AlexanderKeiths is made in Nova Scotia and MooseHead is made in New Brunswick and I prefer Moosehead because its still independant.






All that said I'm not necessarily in favour of using Keiths.ca as the main address unless AlexanderKeiths.ca forwards to it an this is not the case so bad move by their advertising department.
