Remember how I have been talking about grape.ca kinda sneaking in on the better domains every week?

Register.ca is also grape so when you add them together they have a pretty strong showing.

I had that domain on my list, but the only way it makes sense is to get it cheap.

Cineplex Odeon is now Cineplex, and they apparently didn't want the domain anyway, as it's been kicking around for decades (most recently on Afternic) so it's really only worth it as a cheap lottery ticket.

I would like to know what could possibly justify $1,100 or even $1,300 for a domains SEO.

How do you monetize and make your money back?

I'm sorry but I'll never understand, I go to Domainaboutcars.ca and end up at Domainsaboutplumbing.ca, I'll leave in 1-3 seconds, what was gained by the traffic? How does one make money?

Unless you make another site about cars to harvest the traffic properly but odds of me revisiting when the original Domainaboutcars.ca is gone is pretty slim.

For instance LeftLaneNews.com was one of my fave sites and it just sold for a pretty penny. I would probably only visit once unless it was quite similar or the same to the original site.

Like I said, I don't understand the logic in spending 1k for SEO domains.

The backlink profile, not the name or what it was, but what it could be as a link farm or just selling links from it.


For private blog networks (PBN’s) such domains work great. The Canadian market lacks a lot in backlink providers.

I thought I was the only one who had that question. Nice to see elites having the same doubts about it. Would be great if we could have someone report how successful they were with them, in a years time.

Don’t wonder.

Most of the projects are pushed for a limited time, links are sold and until google punishes said domain/website all good. Once a penalty comes, the bunch is useless and are dropped.

But to talk in numbers, using said method in 2020 my roofing business went from 1-2 lead a month to 50. All with the support of said domains. Needless to say that we were not ready at the time and that’s one of the reason why I started purchasing domains again, now we ready.

I actually did that once, I pointed hundreds of domains to my online store and traffic spiked like crazy. All the domains were .CA and so was the online store so I wanted to make sure the traffic was all Canadian.

What ended up happening is traffic went off the charts but sales were only nominally affected. Instead my contact form and published email addresses hit spam lists and I was cut from my web hosts email forcing me to go with Google workspace. The entire project was a bust because it was the wrong type of traffic, people visiting Pandora.ca (which gets hundreds of visitors daily) will not stick around on a site selling car parts or plumbing parts. Eventually the sites information was harvested by spammers and I got all kinds of crazy activity, emails and other unwanted attention that had nothing to do with my online store.

The experiment ended and I don't think I will do that again. I know I can redirect insane traffic to a website like FCarney or something and affect traffic quite nicely but to have that traffic benefit my business is another story.

Let's say I have a cleaning company that targets commercial facilities, how can I use those random backlink-rich domains to increase the leads that come into my bestcleaning.ca (just an example) website?
