Any updates about GD eliminating their egregious Estimated Value system? (1.Viewing)

Agreed and to me, it looks like they're using our domain traffic to promote GoDaddy paywalled services, like their $8500/year Appraisal Tool.

I terminated Afternic last week over the GoDaddy appraisals. They're utterly ridiculous and would mislead a customer badly.
Godaddy is trying to increase the flow of broker-free deals to save money while increasing volume. I won't deal with either anymore.

I had an appraisal for $2.5-4 mill on a solid two keyword legal domain. GoDaddy returned $1200. Now I don't accept the 2.5-4 mill
appraisal (although it would be nice) but the domain is certainly in the 6 figure class.
Any broker looking at it in GoDaddy's system wouldn't spend two minutes tryng to sell it They're working against ME at that point.

Hmm it will be interesting next time they have to report profits. Spaceship made a lot of people jump ship and that is sure to affect the bottom line.

How do you fix that?

Charge more for pro and club and brokerage.

He thinks end users will pay more just because there's no appraisal system. Hate to tell him, end users will be as cheap as always.
