Seems many people still need to wake up and build their own stand alone websites on trusted hosting providers, instead of relying solely on having a youtube, facebook, instagram, etc channel hosting all their content. At least then when/if you get deplatformed, you have an audience that still knows where to find your content, and an email list to keep the correspondence going. Have your own website and use all the social channels as spokes to that. Especially these days if you've built up a large valuable following, the cost to do it yourself is affordable. Doing everything for Free on someone else's platform doesn't always turn out to be the best way to go and can cost you a lot more in the long run.

It is bad to lose all your content, social handles, and followers, but if you want to know what hell really is, its thinking you'll be able to contact the big social network and find someone to help you sort it out and get it all back, but chances are it will be a long frustrating road that leads to nowhere with no one who cares about what happened to you.

Saw a X post from official YouTube account in response to a YouTube account ban:
It was something like this
"You were banned because violating the TOS. It can be found here [insert link here]".
Ai bot didn't work and didn't replace the placeholder text with the link.

YouTube also editing videos without creator's permission.
YouTube addresses creators' concerns that it secretly used AI to edit some videos

X is same

First they stole usernames

Now this

“xglobalrank was a popular, unofficial third-party website and browser extension that allowed users to view the relative global ranking of user profiles on the social media”

We though the standard corporations were emotionless and pure evil - get a load of what the AI corporations are pulling. (Pure Evil + Anti-Human Emotion) x 1000000.

And here everyone thought Person of Interest was just a cool piece of fiction from 2011 - think again. I rewatched the entire series recently and it's both prescient and eerie. My kids could not believe that this show was even allowed on the air.
