Raymond Hackney of TLDinvestors.com wrote an article about the yearly vote for top registrar at namepros. He thinks Unstoppable Domains could possibly come in for an upset and steal the title from Dynadot. What struck me is the lack of participation by NamePros members with under 1000 votes deciding the outcome of the battle.

Has participation and traffic taken a nosedive at Namepros?

A lot of the top posting members have left NamePros over the years due to over moderation and I think that is limiting engagement as those members have moved to X or similar sites.

Personally I see positive signs of changes at Namepros, they are engaging the members more and listening to feedback. I have recently started going back to read after years of barely visiting. I might consider coming back but have a couple of challenges standing in the way which Namepros has started to address in private conversation with me.

The domaining industry is small and the more united we are the better it will be for the Industry as a whole. It is time to focus on a united front or lose to AI as visitors are quoted information stolen from our websites by BOTS instead of visiting to read.

I have the solution to AI stealing content and will be writing an article about it soon, I am tired of having content blatantly stolen driving traffic away.

They're shifting to landers but I'm not seeing how that's going to make money considering there's no commission.
