Seats.com is heavily invested in Canada, now a competing service with the same name, trademark or not it's going to get sticky.

Adam, you've received the full $160K already? This isn't some sort of payment plan? The domain hasn't been transferred to a new registrar, just a nameserver update made on Jan 19.

Also, I see that the domain was listed last year on Atom, did the sale happen through atom? Just wondering how a deal like that would work through a marketplace.

Would be curious to hear how you were able to structure this sale that way (which side offered, etc)
So, a friend of mine has 2300 season blue jay tickets and he made over 1.2 million on the playoffs last year.
So I approached him and said lets do this way bigger and do a Canadian ticket site without fees like stubhub and ticketmaster.
Him and his partners liked the idea... so here we are.
From there it grew to add many upsells and other things.

The final product will be amazing.

I have the money. Not through atom, lawyer and paperwork.

Nice idea, sounds like a good partnership. Wish you the best of luck with that!
