I agree with [notify]Spex[/notify] Didn't know there was a .CA page like this.

Feel like not renewing any of the domains. Just drooling. This is when a few millions hanging around can go a long way!!
 
Seems like Jason has decided to liquidate his portfolio. Would be great for the .CA market. Looking forward for some whales to dive in and take a bite on a few of those.

I think homes.ca, realestate.ca, news etc have been listed on Sedo for many years.
 
Well yes, I am aware of a couple or more of them listed, like the 2 chars of one of our other members here, but not the entire portfolio. That’s what surprised me.

Basically, those domains that were not available to any of us when CIRA opened for business for public registrations that Nov 8th. There were many stories of how they were registered and the requirements then. We have all moved on and that’s what I meant.

I think Jason has simply moved on to other things and isn't too concerned about his .CA portfolio. I haven't talked to him or Adam in many years.
 
I did speak to Adam recently but not Jason. You may be right in that Jason might have moved to other things that are of interest to him now. There are several that could be begging his attention over domaining. But would be interesting to watch.
 
May I ask who Jason is? I see he's been mentioned in a couple threads today.

Seems like a big domainer, but haven't heard of him so might be before my time
 
[notify]Spex[/notify]. It is Mr Jason Chapnik who was the owner of majority of the (one word) keyword domains. I don’t think he ever participated in TBRs. He built up his portfolio before TBR days.

Jason is still involved in domain names as far as I know, also beyond .CA, but it's not the only business he's in. Always enjoyed meeting him, but haven't talked to him in a long long time.
 
So I acquired Node.ca in 2019 and today the previous owner (who didn't pull the listing off Sedo) contacted me about an offer on it. Which one of you jokers was it?? lol

In any case, this is EXACTLY the problem with almost all marketplaces. The number of stale listings makes it a real time waster...
