Thought I would ask. As a kid I use to have a huge comic collection. Regret getting rid of some of them now. Was wondering if anyone here has any star wars 1, 2, or any of the amazing-spiderman silver age they would like to get rid of.

Also looking for star wars 68 ive tried looking on kijiji, and ebay to find some that are affordable hoping there are some angry girlfriends trying to get rid of there bfs collection. Or parents trying to punish there kids buy selling theres. No luck yet though :(

If you werent aware already if he has any big ones might be worth sending a few to cgc to get pressed, and slabbed there worth a lot more then than raw. Although of course cgc charges a bit for there services.

I used to have Star Wars #1 from the original series in the 70's, and others. Sold all my comics in the 90's and early 2000's.
It's hard to hold onto boxes of comics when moving across the country, though there are a few I should have kept, especially Hulk 181 first appearance of Wolverine. I still like going to comic stores and looking at the old ones, if I got back into it I'd just start buying the older and rarer ones, because they always seem to be in demand and go up in price. If I'd known better in the late 70's and 80's could have been a millionaire easy on comics and sports cards by buying and holding the right ones.

It's the same story with anything remotely valuable, and I am far more ticked I didn't buy more BTC and hold it. I was right in there mining at the start (was active in the early BTC mining community with supply of my AMD cards) and did hold some for profit, but nowhere near what I should have given my background.

What's really weird about comics though, is that even the "junk" that people bought in the 70's and 80's seems to be valuable now. All those crappy #1's from the late-70's everyone stockpiled are somehow Gold now and old dealers (with boxes of this over-produced stuff) must be making a killing on the secondary market.

What's going into a CGC slab now, is what you used to get as freebies in a 2000's eBay purchase.

I have 2 bitcoin I bought at just under 1k each, I did it way back when I was looking at buying somethin and the deal went south. I ended up leaving them in my wallet for all these years.

Some people keep saying bitcoin will eventually hit a million so I figure I will continue to let them sit.

With every new high someone tells me to sell them but I figure as long as I get my 2k back I have not lost anything so why not just hold.

I'm talking back when BTC was around 8-cents and mining them only required a PC, while a higher-end ATI SLi system like I had would just wade through it.

All the scams, especially Mt Gox which affected a lot of the community, really turned me off BTC and I guess I never came back. Thank God I still had some mined coin sitting around.

I wonder how many people who mined bitcoin 10 yrs ago have held it? It’s had so many wild swings, I imagine most people sold it never imagining it would be at today’s price.
