Ever since reading this from Andrew Allemann just six weeks ago I've been binge buying .LINK domains. Enjoy!

Domain investor acquires .link top level domain - Domain Name Wire | Domain Name News

When a well respected domainer said this about .link, ".LINK is no worse than .XYZ" i essentially went balls to the wall and now own over 1,100 .link domains. The rebirth of .link is underway, and if any of my Canadian friends would like to hear more just ask. Thanks

I wish him luck with that, for every extension that makes (like .xyz) probably a hundred fail.

There are so many better ones than link. Personally I like .pro and you can see when companies like red.com also own red.pro then the extension is attracting attention.
Thanks for commenting, but how do you account for this from our Canadian friend Bob Hawks;

"I had not heard until your post that the new owners of .link had been announced, finally. Good to hear one is a successful domain investor. In my view .link was by far the most valuable of the auctioned TLDs from the former Uniregistry. I hope the new owners will manage the TLD well."

Or this from the owner/founder of one of the top registrars in the world; ".LINK is no worse than .XYZ"

Interesting, i just learned that Marek Ekhaus, a friend from Prague owns Sex.link that could become a runnerup to Sex.com if he plays his cards right. Thanks again King of Kitchener!

Well you will have a year to find out if it pays off before your renewals start rolling in.

.xyz has become attractive to crypto, blockchain and web 3.0 companies in a big way. Having been there from the start of .xyz and witnessed it all, almost no one could have predicted the sales it would get.

.link still has to prove itself, I wouldn't say it has caught on yet. you'll need to start seeing regular sales of .link for good prices and companies start to use them.

anything is possible in domains, these newer tech companies seem willing to stray from .com, and if a successful company chooses a .link for their website it could encourage others to do so. still just a speculation so far though.

Thanks for your excellent analysis(y) I agree that ".link still has to prove itself", and I hope to contribute. I've been starting all sorts of businesses for the last 50, and I've been told I'm pretty good at it. With regards to renewals, 90% to include names like GoBig.link and Capitalism.link renew at $8.59, while Premium domains like Invest.link and comedy.link renew at $116.

Finally, i know a number of domainers from around the world who are pulling for me, and I'm making new connections via Linkedin every day. The one thing i do know is that in order for the new TLD .LINK to catch on, it's up to me. Thanks again(y)

So many domainers missed .xyz because they thought it was a crap extension that would whither away, so you never know. It took years for .xyz to get the traction and big sales. hate to say I totally missed it, long time domainers could have loaded up on one word .xyz and waited, but most certainly didn't.
