Visiting the website makes me feel underwhelmed

Scam?
Their escrow Website is on wix.com subdomain.
The tweets on the account lists domains that are not for sale.

yeah, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

99% certain that is a scam, same for the other domains they claim to represent. I suspect you will hearing more about this on the domain blogs this week. Happy Thanksgiving folks!

That domain is not for sale, never mind for 5 BTC. 🤣

It would be worth millions of dollars if it traded hands. Many millions.

I agree it would be worth a lot but not sure if it's actually as high as you're thinking. Sure it was a heck of a sale for a domain name but when I look at the website I wonder if the purchase actually panned out. Other than visiting the website out of curiosity I have never heard of business.com doing anything newsworthy since the purchase of the domain. In fact it looks a bit like a generic hold site to me, it makes me wonder what their actual revenue is given it is such a great domain.

The domain itself sold for $7.5 million in 1999. The company sold for $350 million in 2007.

I agree the website is underwhelming.

I reported their account for impersonation. Others might want to consider doing the same.

Someone who is not that educated on domains could easily fall victim to this scam.
