SUPPORT CatchDrop - TBR Support Topic (4.Viewing)

Payment issue was resolved about 1 hour ago, and many carts have been processed, you cart has been processed and domains have been transferred a while ago. Same for DomainRecap. Please let us know if
Yes, I too received the invoices and was able to manage the domains. All good at my end now.
 
Does anyone know how to UNLOCK domains at CatchDrop/RegisterDomain.ca?

Nevermind, I figured it out - it's at the bottom of the domain list, in the same area as Nameservers.

One thing I did notice, is that the system doesn't indicate a change in Lock status and always has the Enable Registrar Lock button highlighted and there doesn't seem to be anywhere else the Lock status is displayed.

You can click Disable Registrar Lock all day and it never changes, except if you look in WHOIS.

This works the same as the Auto Renewal Status setting, but there is a Column for that in the My Domains area so you can view the current status, so maybe the solution would be to add a Locked Status in the My Domain chart?

Just letting you know that the TBR Ad formatting is off and you can't see the current dollar amount, unless there are multiple auctions and it rotates.

Any members getting an error on links from dn.ca to catchdrop.com

I have fixed that issue, it should be resolved now.

Additionally the new CatchDrop box add is live at the side of the forum.
The banner has been removed in favour of a site wide box.

PS. Catchdrop is tweaking the scrolling, that should be fixed soon.
 
@CatchDrop Hi there. I apologize if this is not the correct venue for feedback, but what are the chances that you guys can make the intro video that starts playing automatically on every visit play in mute by default? The audio can turn on when someone clicks on it.

The same way video functions on X, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.

Hi there,
The venue is absolutely fine, we value user experience and user suggestions.
We will definitely look into integrating the option of having it muted by default.
 
I appreciate the CatchDrop auction reminder emails but find it strange there is nothing clickable in the email that brings you to catchdrop auction. The listed domains are not clickable, the signature also not, even the catchdrop banner in the email is not clickable.

Now I have to close my email, go to my browser and type in catchdrop.ca which is not a big deal but I am only on mobile this week. Never noticed it before but a pain to do on mobile, a link would be nice.

Just got another notice

As per my post above, nothing is clickable which means I have to close my inbox, open the browser and visit CatchDrop to participate.

Even something as simple as making the banner in the email clickable would help.

Notice the auction domains are blue making one think they would be clickable but are not.

The domains are supposed to be clickable and were for sure previously.
Tech support is looking into it and it will be resolved shortly.

Remember, the company logo should always be clickable on any site or even in HTML emails.

So if something goes away one can click the logo (as in your logo banner) in the email.

Email update complete, domains automatically redirect to auction page and logo to homepage.
It's live as of the last email that went out for the 15 minutes before auction reminder
 
I do not recommend. Got a domain back on April 10. Got a notice and paid. Parked with some registrar I am not familiar with.

I received nothing about the account re password or login credentials. The domain is sitting there with THEIR nameservers.
A support query on May 26th has not been answered.
Not impressed one bit!

Dear CatchDrop User,

In your CatchDrop dashboard under " Manage My Domains" you simply click and it will bring you right in to your RegisterDomain.ca Account where you could manage your domains.

In the FAQs section here is the following:
"All domains won in auctions or successfully caught backordered domains are transferred to the winner’s RegisterDomain.ca account shortly after successful payment has been processed and could be fully managed from there.

Upon opening a CatchDrop account a RegisterDomain.ca is automatically created with the same username and both accounts are linked."

Both sites have the same username and password and RegisterDomain.ca is accessible directly from your CatchDrop Dashboard.

There is currently no open tickets at all in the CatchDrop System, all tickets have been addressed and closed.

Should you require any assistance please simply open a ticket on CatchDrop under "Contact Support" and a technical rep will gladly guide you.

The only notices I received other than the payment request were from CIRA. You might consider including the instructions for accessing domains in a support email, not leave everybody stumbling around in your site to figure it out.

This all I received from Cira. The email went to support@registerdomain.ca without any response since May 26th as I indicated above. So how could all your support emails be clear?
