I was thinking the same thing, I kept looking at the article thinking it was sold for that before and the new selling price was listed somewhere.

It would be an amazing domain for something to do with certification, like with autographs.
COA is a major term in that field.

The brand is probably strong enough to provide instant credibility and compete with companies like PSA and JSA.
It would not take that many sales to cover that cost.
