Discuss the Domain King - Rick Schwartz (1 Viewing)

Also I think oil and gas will be around a lot longer than most people think, and those prices could stay high or go higher. I read recently that it takes 60 barrels of oil to produce all the plastic in a Tesla. that was an eye opener if it's anything close to that.

I was looking at that recently, some of the Canadian coinage from 90's and earlier with copper and nickel is worth close to or more than the face value of the coin. Used to be the silver coinage was worth more than face value, now it's also the copper and nickel. In time it will likely be worth much more. Today's coinage is mostly made of steel.

I registered my first domain in 1995 but only got into investing domains in 2003 or so after Richard Lau convinced me it was not too late and I was working at Tucows/OpenSRS with some domainer customers.

copper.ca is owned by... Ilze.

I guess this means we can't* share any of his tweets here now like before, without taking a screenshot?

And the ability to retweet his posts has been disabled because of the changes he made too.

I wonder how long he'll keep it that way as it really limits his reach/voice for someone so vocal on Twitter. I'd bet it's temporary, even if he sticks to it for a long time.

I think he did it to gain more followers. I’m sure he was getting a lot of people who like to read his Tweets but not “follow” him. By having his Twitter private, he knows that he will get a ton more of followers this way. I think eventually once thenew follow requests die off, he will switch it back around again.
