Yes GoDaddy charges tax, I don't think DAN did because of where they were located.

IF you are in the US or Canada.... the tax man cometh.

I have to find out if SAW also charges tax but I don't think they are registered in Canada so there would be no HST collected by them.

9% + no tax = one hellova bonus!!

Ya'll are nuts for using any sales platform. Be in control of your own destiny, taxes, payments, etc...

I agree totally, but I'm so busy with work and family (not to mention my domain sideline) that whenever I try to allocate time to even investigate various alternatives, something always comes up.

I was very pleased with Dan and that created a false sense of security, but Afternic is a big sloth-like joke (it now takes 10+ days for a broker to tell you that a potential buyer is a low-balling deadbeat) and I definitely need to break away from this constantly-deteriorating "GoDaddy Family of Products".

If Afternic is now the jewel in the GD crown, it's time to get rid of the royalty.

Fall/Winter is usually a lot easier for me time-wise, and as they say: "Necessity is the mother of invention". And the prospect of Afternic being my default marketplace is a creating boatload of necessity.
