Congrats! Hard to gain new followers with the new algorithm. Have to post everyday or you don't get the reach.

Especially because I refrain from posting anything not about domains so I don't get exposure to other X members.

It's a pretty decent achievement purely based on domainers.

I try to keep my posts domain related, business related, or some type of strategy/advice.

I don't really try to collect unrelated followers in unrelated fields.

Yes I see you have hit 3000 and you are following about 1000.

I figured out that about half the people one follows end up following you back and the more exposure you get.
I only followed a handful of people and by increasing the amount of people I followed I get suggested to other users. It's a big circle and the more you follow and interact the more your follower count goes up.

I'm following about 260 people but 20 or 30 are companies like banks and that which are of interest to me. Finding qualified domainers to follow is slimmer pickings than I thought.

Using what I mentioned in the post above I gained 15 followers in one day and that was done by following 22 additional people.

So following and followers have a direct correlation.
