Nobody is ever going to type in that domain more than once, but I can see why it sold.

I had been aware of DOGE and what Elon is doing for Trump for a while now, but never even thought to see if the full spelling of that department was available to register.
Domain did sell at Afternic:
Domain was listed for sale at $58,000. GoDaddy had syncing issue with sold domains showing up as available to buy. I reported the bug today.
After a domain is sold, they show the domain and "may be available" underneath.
