a new SEC filing, plus some digging, reveals that the Galaxy.com domain name was acquired for USD $1.8 million by crypto company Galaxy Digital last year. This is a gigantic upgrade compared to their GalaxyDigital.io domain name.

As weird as it sounds, that looks like a real steal compared to some other 7- and 8-figure .COM sales.

It’s definitely worth more than 1.8M. But that doesn’t mean that the buyer was willing to pay more. Sometimes it’s all in the negotiation and time. The thing about time is if you wait too long you may never get that sale.

Based on Ron Jackson's new information from the buyer's broker, I've updated the headline and text of the original article, see:

for the updated article. Briefly, it's possible that the Galaxy.com deal was for MORE than $1.8 million.
