.gr domains (1.Viewing)

I have been away traveling mainly through Greece over the last 3 weeks, an amazing place and people.. the food is pretty good as well. The one thing that really stood out was that no matter where we were it seemed like every hole in the wall vender, shop and business had there own domain and it was always .gr . The business name.gr was clearly visible on the store/shop front, it was rare to see a .com.

I can't ever remember seeing so many websites on shop fronts during all our travels especially in the cctld.

P.S. Greece has some amazing beer!

It's coming in Canada as the .com's are more and more out of reach.
