In regards to the above....
I agree with Elliot, the 5k number for the small fee at dan is worth it and I will often go to 10k.
DomainGang suggesting Escrow is a valid comment but not everyone wants to go through the hasle of creating an Escrow acount. A lot of times its a single purchase and the idea of giving all your information to Escrow can be a bit intimidating to first time buyers.
That said e-transfer with multi pay is the best option for anyone in Canada for me.
I will use Escrow above 10k for foreign transactions and and Dan for anything below 10k on foreign transactions.
I have yet to do a push to Afternic but feel we probably wont have a choice once the Dan service finally gets retired.
