Has anyone acquired .CA Instagram handles? (1.Viewing)

I am wondering if anyone has ever acquired any handles where they own the domain name. I am not talking about any TM’s that you may have simply domain name only.

I find it odd there are so many handles being taken which include .CA and they are out of country.

An example would be a username “hotel.ca”

I never tried to get it. I did try to get a suspended Twitter handle using 1 of my domains and they wouldn't give it.

with hotel.ca maybe they are thinking CA as in California?

I got the following twitter handles by disputing them on twitter

@MapleDots

@Priide

and one more I cannot mention

I don't have anything to do with facebook/instagram so I cannot comment on that. I think I am the last person on the planet who has NEVER had a facebook account.
