How do you decide which TBR domains to go after? (3.Viewing)

Curious to see how you choose the TBR names that you'd like to go after.

Personal interest in topic/subject?
A self-defining strategy (1-2 word/number of lettters/ability to develop/etc)?
SEO-related history (backlinks, etc)?
Keyword search volume?
Personal like/belief in the name?

For me, it's a mix of things. From personally liking the name, being interested in the subject, search volume, development potential.

However, I have never gone after 3-character domains, for example, I just don't understand how to decide or know which would have value. Also feels like playing a lottery.

Sell traffic, links and SEO, not domains.

They might be onto something.
